Good Places for a perfect shot

Tsing Sheung Lane, Tsing Yi

From here, you can take pictures of the Stonecutters Bridge in a low angle. After arriving almost the end of Tsing Sheung Lane, look at you left hand side, and you will see a hole on the net, go through it, and you will get to a pier. The pier is were you take photos.

Upper Cheung Sha Beach

This is a beach located at Southern Lantau Island. It is also the longest beach in Hong Kong. This is a place away from light pollution and it is a good place for shooting star trails. The main source of light pollution is street lights and the changing room of the beach.

Diffculty: 2/10

Transportation: Take NLB 11 or 23 from Tung Chung Station, NLB 1 or 4 from Mui Wo pier. Alight at the station 'Cheung Sha beach'

If you want to drive to Cheung Sha beach, you must have a Lantau Closed Road Permit for your car, because roads of Southern Lautau Island is restricted area. Otherwise you will be charged. It is recommanded to use pubilc transport to reach here because the roads in Southern Lautau Island is very tough

Only Lantau Island Taxis(Blue Taxis) are allowed to enter sothern Lantau Island

Lido Beach

Lido beach is a beach located in Ting Kau. It is closed because the water there is polluted, but you can still enter the beach. The beach is right beside Ting Kau bridge, it provides a great view of Ting Kau Bridge.

Transportation: KMB 234B, from Tsuen Wan West Station to Sea Crest Villa, alight at 'Lido beach' station (12th station), 96C minibus, from Tsuen Wan station to Bellagio Tower, alight at 'Lido Beach'
